Ivy House is located in the town of St Austell and is a short walk from the shops and services guests require – including cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars – as well as chemists, clothes stores, banks, a cinema, and a range of other shops.
Ivy House is also a very short walk away from St Austell train and coach/bus station. St Austell is on the national rail network and there are direct trains to many destinations – including Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol, London, Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh – as well as to towns across Cornwall. You can also travel to St Austell on the national coach network. The bus station offers services to destinations across Cornwall – including the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. By air you can fly to Cornwall Airport at Newquay (15 miles away), which offers direct flights to a number of locations, including London Heathrow/Gatwick (some routes are seasonal; please see the airport’s website for the latest list of destinations). A taxi from the airport to Ivy House will cost around £40.
